Training my Pet Cloud
Lyla sighed, and let Puff roam free. Then he flew off to his friends, the storm clouds Thunder and the pure cloud Hazy. They laughed together, and Lyla threw a soft candy into the sky. Immediately all the clouds chased around it, watching it fall till Thunder caught it on its back. We all cheered.
Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Conrad was taking a stroll through the forest, observing the area. He saw someone up ahead. He stopped and leaned against a tree, content with examining what was going on from afar. There were some cloud spirits playing around, along with a girl.

Lyla looked down to see a boy, obviously an Index. "Hi!" She called out to him cheerfully. She raised her staff and shushed the wind spirits, who had started to play a tag game.
Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Conrad straightened up a bit as he was acknowledged.
He returned the wave.
"Hello."

"You wanna come up?" She asked uncertainly. She sent Thunder down. She wasn't sure if it was rude or not allowed to come up to the Cloud Forest if you're an Index. She wondered what it was like to be one.
Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Conrad considered it for a moment.
"I'm fine on the ground." He said. He wasn't quite sure what to expect from it, and he wasn't one to intrude on their fun... though he did admit to himself that it looked interesting.

"You sure?" She didn't quite trust that. The clouds were getting for a small game of Element Ball, and they were tugging at her shorts. She flew up and let the clouds form a circle, cautiously creating a thin line of boundary.
Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Conrad watched the clouds playing. He simply shrugged and gave a bit of a nod. He was fine with standing on the sidelines. It was where he normally stood.

Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Lyla threw the ball and the Hazy bumped it on. Thunder caught it and it became a water ball. Thunder's team cheered.
While the break, Lyla looked down a little to see if the boy was still there.

She has a laptop. She's a genius. Put those two together, and ta-da! Hacking.

((Oh, I get it.))
Lyla looked down to see another person. She knew everyone at school, so this girl was also an Index for sure.
"Want to join me? We're about to start a game of Element Ball." Lyla called down, hoping to get some players. No offense, she thought, but playing with clouds are... harder to play with.

Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Estelle took a moment to look up from her laptop. 'Element Ball? How do you play that?'

"Didn't you learn..." Lyla muttered. She didn't learn it? Well, that was interesting. Because someone had told her once that Indexes also played it.

Conrad looked over at this new person. He had been enjoying watching the game. It was rather interesting seeing clouds playing... He didn't often join in, but he did know the rules.

Estelle noticed another boy. She nodded in greeting, then looked back at Lyla. 'I believe I never heard of this.. before. Explanation?'
OOC: I seriously don't get this game.

(It's like baseball, only you get the points when the ball hits the blue mat instead of when the runner makes it home and the pitcher is a separate team. Though some of the other aspects are rather confusing when put into an actual game perspective...)
"You hit the ball and if they don't catch it, you get a point." Conrad put in helpfully. He stayed in his spot leaning against the tree.

Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Lyla flew down to see their faces properly. She got a little nervous everytime she went downwards, but it was okay to be at ground level. She was good at hiding her fear, anyways.
"Yes," She said. "Wanna join?" The clouds were whirring in the clouds up there, getting a little annoyed that the pitcher won't come. She clutched her staff.

Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Estelle shrugged. 'I guess it can't hurt.' She eyed Lyla warily. 'Or it can, but okay, I'll join.' She looked over at Conrad. 'Thanks. You playing?'

"Great!" Lyla said cheerfully. She formed a wind ball in her hand, and she motioned the clouds down, though they looked quite cheerful in the sky. She pitched the ball as high as possible, making at harder to hit. She smiled as her staff changed the color to blue, the symbol of wind and water balls in Element Ball.
Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Estelle grinned. High equals good. To her, at least. With a flick of her fingers, she changed it to a comet and sent it almost straight down.

Lyla shrugged and let the comet levitate up again, changing it to a blue wind ball again. "One point for you," She said. She threw the ball on the side, letting it curve and come to her. Puff got ready to catch. The other clouds spread out.
Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Conrad gave a playful clap at the previous play. He awaited the next ball.

Re: Training my Pet Cloud
Estelle sighed. She concentrated, then felt the suppressed power of the stars right now, watching this game. She used that to make a thin force of power in front of her, and hit a bunt.
